Cheryl Morrice is an artist born and brought up in Fife, Scotland.

Cheryl began her art career almost 10 years ago selling from stalls in the Edinburgh Grassmarket. This branched to commercial shows elsewhere over the years. Cheryl’s art has now sold to homes around the world .

Working from her studio gallery in Fife, Cheryl paints in oils and watercolour and has developed a loose art style which can be described as painterly.

After living abroad for a number of years,Cheryl has returned to Fife and enjoys the countryside and coastline from where she can take inspiration for plein air painting.

As well as contemporary portrait art, coastal scenes, landscapes, gardens, wildlife,dancers, mothers, cityscapes, couple paintings & more, are some featured subjects .

“I like to paint people or funny stories and celebrate life through art. Life is precious and there are little joys to be found everywhere. I paint for my own joy. If I can make people smile, well that’s a bonus.”

Cheryl currently works full time as a live wedding & event artist, as well as personal studio commissions .

She lives with 2 lively dogs, is a keen allotment keeper who loves country music. Cheryl gives all the glory for any artistic gift to the Lord God.
